The key to selling your home quickly is to make a buyer feel an emotional attachment to your home upon showing. Here are some tips…
1.Eliminate decorative clutter and extra furniture from your home.
2.Disassociate yourself from your home. Remove any personal photos or knickknacks.
3.Clean storage out of storage rooms or spare bedrooms.
4.During showings:
-Don’t be home.
-Keep it comfortable. If it’s cold out, turn on the heat or put on a fire.
-Turn on all of the lights and open all of the blinds.
-Turn on some soft music… but not a tv.
-Stay away from artificial scents… but bake cookies and leave them on the table with a note for buyers to help themselves.
